Danielle Converse on Foreign Trade Zones – Staying Competitive in the Global Market
Danielle Converse is the Foreign Trade Zone Manager at the Port of Corpus Christi, FTZ #122. Danielle has served as the Foreign Trade Zone Manager for the Port of Corpus Christi since 2019. She graduated from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science, and has more than 20 years’ experience with federal, state, and local regulations. Danielle is an FTZ advocate and active member of the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ), serving on the Grantee Committee, the Social Media Taskforce, and is currently Chair of the Sponsorship Taskforce. In addition, Mrs. Converse has been instrumental in the formation of the Texas Association of Foreign Trade Zones (TAFTZ), where she serves on the Executive Committee as the Secretary and manages the organization’s social media and web site. While her time in the FTZ industry is short, Danielle’s excellent working relationships with operators and local U.S. Customs officials have ensured the successful implementation and continuation of the Foreign-Trade Zones program in the Corpus Christi region.
